Admission Procedure & Eligibility Criteria


NO APPLICATION FEES IS REQUIRED AS PER GOVERNMENT RULES

Online Applications are invited from the candidates of all recognised Boards / Council qualifying H.S. or equivalent (10+2) examination for admission into the listed Under Graduate Courses for Admission. A candidate may be admitted to the first year of Four year B.A. (Core & General) courses of studies on passing H.S. (10+2) examination conducted by West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent examination conducted by other State Board / Council fulfilment of the conditions mentioned below: Please see the list of Board or Council recognised by our University before online application. Only the State & National Level Board in Regular Mode will be allowed to take admission in Hons. courses. No candidate shall be allowed for admission after a lapse of more than 3 years from the year of passing (excluding the current year) the previous qualifying examination or discontinuation of recognized regular courses of study after passing the previous qualifying examination.

Procedure for Application

Applicants are requested to first view the available Core subjects and General Streams along with combination subjects and required minimum qualifications. Then check the course fees. For application, applicants have to register first with her Name, H.S. Registration No. or H.S. Roll No., H.S. passing year, H.S. Board, her own valid mobile number, Date of Birth, Nationality, State. After Registration, applicants will receive a confirmation SMS along with the Application ID and Password in her registered mobile no. Applicants have to login with the provided application ID and Password. Applicants have to provide the personal details like guardian name, full address, category etc. Applicants have to provide Academic details i.e. all marks obtained along with the H.S. subjects. After confirming the details, applicants have to upload the documents and after that go for final submission. After final submission the application printout of the form can be taken. Single application form is to be used for applying for more than one subject / course.

Online Submission of Application Form

No hard copy or Application Forms are accepted to the University Office directly. Please note Anti Ragging Proforma to be downloaded from the University website and to be submitted to the University office at the time of admission duly filled and signature by the student and parents.

Subject Change

Changing Core Subject or General Stream will be allowed only if seats remains vacant or College authority allows.

Cancellation of Candidature

At the time of Certificate verification if any information provided at the time of online form fill up found incorrect or payment confirmation is not matched then the candidature will be cancelled. After admission in each course of study, if any student remains absent from the classes continuously for seven days at a stretch or for a total of Fifteen days (intermittent) during the first one month of her admission to the course of studies without assigning reasons acceptable to the University authority, her studentship will be terminated and her name will be automatically struck off the rolls.
